ElevenLabs Voice Avatar and Background Audio Plan
Consent status
MC confirmed that clear consent is already available for voice-avatar use.
Operational note: because Maya is 15, keep the consent record attached to production governance before uploading voice samples or publishing synthesized voice outputs. The production package can proceed on the basis that consent is confirmed by MC, while final publication should preserve the consent evidence.
Purpose
Use ElevenLabs as the audio-production lane for:
- Maya voice avatar
- Emma voice avatar
- optional narration repair lines
- background music bed
- chalk, ruler, calculator, classroom, and transition sound effects
- final audio mix support

Background music direction
The music should feel:
- confident
- bright
- smart school-energy
- not childish
- not corporate
- light enough to stay under student voices
Suggested music bed:
- intro: short 10-second upbeat classroom/chalk motif
- body: subtle low-volume rhythmic pulse
- outro: same motif returns with warmer finish
Sound effects direction
Use small, tasteful effects only:
- chalk writing
- chalk tap
- calculator beep
- ruler swish
- page/worksheet slide
- finish flag flutter
- soft success accent at the final recap
Integration with the first 30-second rough cut
Current rough cut uses original source audio from the first two Drive clips and placeholder chalkboard visuals.
Next ElevenLabs-backed version should:
- create voice avatars for Maya and Emma from consent-cleared samples
- create or select a 30-second music bed
- add chalk/ruler/calculator SFX
- keep original source narration dominant
- use synthetic voice only for intro/outro hooks or missing bridge lines unless explicitly approved for broader replacement
